The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a homicide suspect.
20-year-old Ziyker Washington is charged with the murder of Hamid Boyd in Norristown on Nov. 30. Police believe Washington is still in the area but has cut his dreads to change his appearance. Officials say he's 5 feet, 8 inches tall and about 160 pounds.
Shortly after 6 p.m. on Nov. 30, Boyd was gunned down on Powell Street, near East Elm Street, in what investigators say was a gang-related homicide.
Washington is the third person charged in Boyd's death. Mark Fields, 18, of Norristown, and Theodore Adams, 17, of Philadelphia, are in custody on murder, conspiracy, and weapons charges.
Washington should be considered armed and dangerous. Officials say if you see him, don't approach. Call 911, Norristown police at 610-270-0977, or Montgomery County detectives at 610-278-3386.
