    Police say it was just before 4 a.m. on Saturday when a person in a red SUV hit a 54-year-old who was attempting to make a left turn on his bike toward North 56th Street. The driver swerved and continued going. The man was pronounced dead not much later.

    Montgomery County's Wissahickon School District says they are in the process of terminating the contract an elementary school principal after he was recorded making anti-Semitic remarks while leaving a voicemail to a school parent.
    District superintendent Dr. Mwenyewe Dawan (mwen-YAY-way duh-WAN) says that Philip Leddy, principal of Lower Gwynedd Elementary School, was leaving a voicemail for a parent when he thought the call was disconnected and then engaged in a conversation with a staffer.
