  • Suspect wanted in death of Frankford woman two summers ago
It was just after 10 p.m. on June 23, 2024, when Philadelphia police found the remains of 22-year-old Anastasiya Stangret on Griscom Street, around the corner from the Arrott Transit Center in Frankford.
She had a single gunshot wound to the head, and police said her body was in an advanced stage of decomposition.
Authorities have had little to go on for a year and a half, and her death remains unsolved. As KYW's Nigel Thompson tells us, that's why they released new surveillance video Friday, in hopes of gaining information.
