If you want to run in the Philadelphia Marathon or half marathon this year, it may already be too late.
According to organizers, all passes to both races have sold out as of Friday morning.
It is the fastest that passes have sold out in the 33-year history of the marathon.
The announcement Friday comes three months after organizers made an additional 3,000 spots available for racers. They expect more than 40,000 participants in the city for the races over the marathon weekend, held from Nov. 20 to the 22.
There are still spots available in the Rothman Orthopaedics 8K and the Philadelphia Kids Run for ages 4 to 10.
