L-Squared Podcast

The most recent film in The Conjuring Franchise came out last week (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It), that made Old Legs and I realize we haven't talked about any of these films on the show.

.

.

.

The Conjuring set the standard for horror films in the 2010's, which turned out to be potentially the best decade for horror. Will this newest addition to the franchise set the standard for the 2020's?

Welcome to the first edition of our Monthly Musicals series! Friend of the show Haley Zacharias will be joining me every month to talk about a different musical, be it brand new or timeless!

.

.

.

First up, the Broadway smash hit that took the world by storm. One of the most popular and successful Broadway Musicals of all time: Hamilton.

.

.

The goal of this series is to make a concerted effort to appreciate musicals and we want you to be part of this journey with us. Next month we will be watching: In the Heights and Newsies. Check them out and let us know your thoughts; we will shout you out on the episode!

Friend of the show Tyler "Burdettedog" Backus emerges from his ocean dwelling to wreak havoc on this podcast. He's out there hurting people and we don't know why. Will Old Legs and I be able to set aside our differences and unite forces in order to bring him down? Will Burdettedog overpower us and destroy the human race as we know it? Tune in to find out...

The epic next chapter in the cinematic Monsterverse pits two of the greatest icons in motion picture history against one another - the fearsome Godzilla and the mighty Kong - with humanity caught in the balance.

Friend of the show Tyler "Burdettedog" Backus returns to help me wax poetic all about our shared love of physical media and why we're sad to see it fade into history.

.

.

.

Tyler and I come from a time when physical media ruled all. Movies, Video Games, Music... In the last 10 years the importance and value of physical media has decreased rapidly. We take this time to share some of our love for physical media and why we won't go quietly into the night, we hope to continue on into the future physical media physically in hand.

.

.

.

Let's get physical, physical... media!
