Whats Good Babes!

I had the extreme pleasure to sit down and record with a very inspiring woman, Corinne Lydon. She is a great example of not allowing life to leave a label on her. She has gone thru so much; she is very honest and open about the challenges she has gone thru. She has fought fibromyalgia and so many other obstacles in her life. Good morning Label Free Family!

This is an interesting episode. I had a fun weekend with my Bestie last weekend. We had back to back parties and hung out with some friends. I invited these friends over to my house after the last stop. Mind you, there was several people, It was more like a party.  

Our takeaway from our weekend was how dating expectations have changed. Our culture has changed so much from social media. Most people are about immediate gratification with so many options at their fingertips. My question to you is; do you conquer or compromise? 

As a person that has experienced so much; I have been forced to examine my own values.  Which brings me to this episode and my views on our current hookup culture. I'd love to hear your feedback.

She recently launched an Indiegogo project. She is looking for funding to make this very unique project come to life. It is a subject that we, as society, do not talk about or touch on very often. It is a short horror film about a woman that experiences postpartum OCD. What's up my party people! How is your week going? The last couple weeks were rough for me. I had my purse stolen and it totally threw me off my square. I had to breakaway from the usual and spend some time with family. IDK about you but family therapy is always good for the soul.  <3

This episode I talk to my sister who has uprooted her norm of life and moved 2hrs away to be with the love of her life. She is getting married in October 2019. Very happy for her!! Overwhelmed with excitement for her. She has found the love of her life and has adapted to a new way of life to be with him.  I am a very proud big sister. It is humbling to make such a drastic change. I don't think I could do it.  

Her BFF (adopted sister) was visiting with her 7yr old son while I was there. We decided to sit down and talk about my sisters adjustment and what it means to be a farmer and just really what all of us Urban/Suburban folk take for granted. This is very informative guys, Hopefully you'll appreciate the download of reality from another perspective.

What's Up Peeps! TGIF! 

In this episode I hang out with my neighbor. I grilled,  we drank wine, and talked about stages in our lives and relationships. It is a fun conversation; if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!

We both agree that our life journey is just that, its a journey to getting to the next stage of where we are meant to be. Not all stages are bad, we all have different paths and some of us need to experience more than others.

Hey friends!! This episode I sat down with my Mom & Brother on a very hot summer day breaking down the initiation of life,  My brother discussed a Robert Bly's book called "Iron John".  It was a very interesting conversation. I never thought about if we have a natural initiation in life. Do you think we do? 

I'd love to hear your thoughts about lift, drag, and weight. I agree with this analogy. It is so simple but yet so true. 

I loved my Mom in this episode. She talks about some key elements to follow to set you free in life.
