Laced in Spice

Episode 3: “Men Written by Women — and Why They’d Ruin My Life”

A deep dive into why fictional men—especially the ones written by women—are superior to reality, complete with dramatic readings, heated debates, and our signature chaos.

Featuring special guest - Author Cassandra Moll with a surprise announcement!

Laced in Spice - Episode 2: "Spice Ratings: From Blush to Banned"

Besties, grab your Kindles and prepare for chaos! In this episode of Laced in Spice, your favorite bookish troublemakers, Bookish Babe Reads and Laced in Words, take a deep dive into the wild world of spice ratings. From innocent blushes to full-blown battery-draining filth, they break down their completely unscientific (but highly necessary) Laced in Spice Spice Scale.

Expect unhinged Bookstagram origin stories, feral group chat confessions, and a heated debate on which genres and tropes deliver the real smut. Is fantasy romance the dark horse of filth? Why are hockey players taking over our TBRs? And most importantly, what’s the spiciest, most jaw-dropping book quote we read this week?

Tune in for chaotic bestie energy, dangerously long TBRs, and absolutely zero regrets. DM us your filthiest reads, and remember: if your Kindle overheats, it’s a sign to hydrate. 😉
