Faiz Ahmed Faiz .. the poem holds historical importance in urdu literature .. Urdu poetry was previously confined to zulf , sharaab , mehboob , gham etc .. this poem is progressive and opened new horizons for Urdu poetry .. I always wanted to recite this one poem of Faiz .. happy listening :)
