As Paul ends his letter to the Ephesians he focuses on the spiritual battle we face and the details of approach. We move from walking out our faith to standing in battle.

The worthy walk , the wise walk is one that is obedient. All of us live under authority or have the privilege of being in authority. How do we walk that out?

Paul draws I picture of marriage as on tied to the mystery that is the church. What does it mean to walk as a husband and wife?

Verb tense is crucial in biblical study. This is true of today’s passage. We once were in the dark, we are now in the light.

Jesus sacrifice is example of love we should walk in. Paul challenges us to walk in love and from sexual sin. There is a break at 13.20 to 16.40 during communion.

No longer are the words Paul uses to describes our life before salvation. We like the Ephesians move into the now.

Paul makes the transition from describing Grace to challenging Grace to affect living.
