Betrayal can be one of the most hurtful feelings we experience, mainly because it comes from someone we trust.  But did you know there's movement in betrayal?  This week, James and Mike look at Psalm 55.  When someone hurts us there are times when we move towards them, but Psalm 55 also teaches us that there can be times when we let God move in the relationship.

God has rarely called his people to settle in a specific place forever.  God wants all of us to move closer to him, but some times we have to make choices on the places we are to go.  In this week's episode, James and Mike look at the wanderings of the Israelites after they leave Mount Sinai and they discuss our own movements and the places God leads us.

James and Mike help us examine our values.  We look at Matthew chapter 19 and the movement, or lack of movement, from the rich young ruler.  They talk about how values will influence our thoughts and our actions and making sure that our values line up with God's values.

In a previous episode, James and Mike talked about the high and lows.  This week they look at life in the plains.  The plains are nice and predictable.  But there are times when we are going to have to leave the plains and go into the unpredictable.  We have to be willing to move out of the plains in order for growth to take place.

James and Mike look at Psalm 25 and discuss the back and forth of our spiritual journey.  Guilt can be a very crippling feeling and can hinder us in our movement towards God.  We need to remember God's grace and his mercy is much greater.

Have you ever thought about what it would be like to be a part of the crowd in Jesus' time?  This week James and Mike explore the crowd that followed Jesus.  They talk about the crowds desire and our desire to follow Jesus.

We are commanded to love God with all of our heart, soul, strength, and MIND.  That means we are to use our mind, God wants us to think.  We shouldn't just coast and not think about our faith.  This week, James and Mike talk about the movement and stretching of our mind.

What do you do when it feels like God has moved away from you?  The laments in the Psalms deal with this feeling.  We lament, but where is our focus?  Are we willing to trust the story?

This week James and Mike look at the story of Joseph.  They examine how Joseph might have felt as he was in Egypt without his earthly father.  But Joseph had to trust the story and rely on his heavenly father.

James and Mike look at moving while staying still, or atleast not moving physically.  They examine Sabbath.  What was it's purpose?  How was it supposed to be used as a time for moving closer to God?  And where would we be if we let our Sabbath be more of what it was intended to be?
