Donny and Walt get together for another 'Winning Time' episode recap, this time covering the penultimate episode of season 1.

In the middle of their recap, they think about how hard the Lakers, Jerry Buss, the coaching staff, and the front office of 1980 had it while still overcoming it all to win a championship when it was all said and done. They compare that to the hard circumstances of the 2020 championship, but also how easy things were set up for the current front office after that and how they bungled everything.

They wrap with checking in on the 2022 NBA Playoffs, including their current picks on who will win it all.

Donny and Walt discuss Jerry West going full cartoon Jerry West while threatening to take his complaints against HBO on his depiction in "Winning Time" all the way to the Supreme Court. It's Suing Time!

They then dive into Episode 8, talking about how Magic Johnson, Jeanie Buss, AND Julius Erving all have to be pissed about this episode... all for varying levels of seriousness.

Donny and Walt recap episode 7 of HBO's "Winning Time", but first, they dive into what Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Jerry West think of the show as their thoughts were in the news this week. And this may come to a surprise to a lot of you... but the two HATE the show. Later they also call their shots with who would play Phil Jackson in a theorized "Winning Time" type show covering the Shaq and Kobe years, talk about why Magic Johnson will again be pissed if he hears about what happens in this episode, as well as their best impressions of Magic doing a no-look pass.

In this episode, Donny and Walt get back on the mic for the first time since the official end of the Lakers' 2021-22 season. With plenty of time throughout the rest of the spring and summer to talk about what went wrong and what may change for the team moving forward, instead of doing that the two decide to look back on the good and bad of Frank Vogel's three seasons with the franchise. Donny and Walt get back together to recap the second episode of 'Winning Time'. Interestingly enough, the episode was directed by one Jonah Hill and featured a closer look into the mind of Jerry West, a deeper dive into Magic Johnson's relationship with his future wife Cookie, as well as the beginnings of Jerry Buss' rivalry with Celtics owner and coach, Red Auerbach.

Donny and Walt get together for the first time in a while to discuss the Lakers, except this time they're doing that through the HBO show 'Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty'. They discuss the wild first episode of the series titled "The Swan", recapping our introductions to these real life characters in Dr. Jerry Buss, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Jerry West, and others.

The two go over their initial reactions to the episode before diving into some segments including the episode's MVP, their "Did this actually happen?" moments, as well as "Who's pissed about tonight's episode?".

Gary, Honi, Walt and Donny share their trade ideas and discuss the types of deals the Lakers should be looking to make in order to improve the roster heading into the late stages of the NBA season.
