With hundreds to thousands of albums released, narrowing the list down was nothing short of a struggle, but the albums decided on will stick with the listener for a long time.

These albums include, in order from least favorite to favorite, "Open Wide" by Inhaler, "The Crux Deluxe" by Djo, "Man's Best Friend" by Sabrina Carpenter, "Forever Is A Feeling" by Lucy Dacus, "George" by Jake Minch and "Who's The Clown?" by Audrey Hobert.

From guitar-riff filled rock songs, to catchy pop tracks, to straight-up soul crushing, these albums have the ability to sneak their way into a listeners life to the point that they never want it to leave.

Linganore High School (LHS) senior Melissa Bowman shares her thoughts on "Man's Best Friend," followed by American University (AU) sophomore Isabella Alvarez Lalama sharing her love for Minch's debut album. LHS senior Jordis Dimmick also gave a lively interview regarding "Who's The Clown?"

Black Friday crowds have been largely impacted by online shopping over the recent years. Black Friday is seemingly taking over November, seemingly defeating the purpose and excitement of the once singular day.

Linganore High School (LHS) students Charlie Glassman and Ayden Marsh spoke on the topic, stating they have noticed a variety of changes in their lifetime. Glassman even discussed the theory that stores raise the prices prior to Black Friday, making the later cut seem like a deal, even when it is not.

In this podcast, Editors Emily Rice and Caroline Tucker discuss abuse towards camels and horses in Egypt and Morocco.

In both Egypt and Morocco, camels are often used as tourist attractions, where they are made to carry tourists for long hours in harsh conditions such as extreme heat. These camels may be overworked without sufficient rest, food or water, leading to exhaustion and poor health.

The physical abuse includes hitting or kicking them, using sharp tools to prod or drive them, and applying rough methods to force them to perform. The use of chains or other restrictive equipment that causes discomfort or injury is also common.

Linganore High School (LHS) senior Hayden Turansky has experienced the abuse in person during his vacation to Egypt. His family did not originally plan on riding camels, but seeing how far they would have had to walk changed their minds. It seemed like a scam for money to him; it did not take long for him to see the abuse happening, and it ruined his experience in Egypt.

Combatting camel abuse requires raising awareness, choosing responsible tourism, donating to organizations, advocating for stronger laws, and supporting sustainable alternatives. Every step can help reduce the exploitation of camels and improve their treatment in the long run.
