Real Work True Worship worshipping God in all of our work

Ever wonder how central your work is to the purposes of God? Has God really appointed you to do this? Is much of my work of any real eternal significance?

It’s important that we find answers to these questions. God is calling us, on the basis of the gospel, to offer our lives as a living sacrifice of worship to him.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Romans 12:1

This evening programme will explore ‘worshipping God in all of our work’. How this might look in various contexts. The challenges and opportunities. Paid and unpaid. In the office, shop floor, hospital word and lecture theatre. In the home and the community.

We’ll hear from different people, listen to God’s word and explore how he has fashioned each of us to the work he has called us to.
