Laps Down Podcast

This is a FULL RUN DOWN on the state of motorsports marketing across F1, IndyCar and NASCAR. MJ and Andrea talk about being motorsport content creators, how content creators are used well or not at all, how series appeal to new fans, and how drivers gain sponsors as well as followers. This episode is really a passion project between the Laps Down girls, and are excited to start a discussion with other motorsports fans!

Andrea and MJ covered this week the terrifying faces on the Borg-Warner Trophy, and whose faces they would like to see on it. They also talk about the Chloe Chambers domination they wish for and have little fun getting crazy with the ways she could take over F1. This is a pretty crazy episode guys, couldn’t think of any other way for MJ and Andrea to wrap up the 2024 racing season. 

MJ and Andrea cover EVERYTHING about this weeks Qatar Grand Prix, including the FIA drama, the Bravo style fighting between Max and George, the continued bad luck at Williams and the slow death of Perez's career. They also weighed the possibility that Esteban Ocon will be out for the race next weekend. Sorry for the lack of IndyCar and NASCAR content but we promise it will pick up soon! 

MJ and Andrea recap their insane weekend at the Las Vegas Grand Prix and all of the on track and off-track drama that took place. They also talk Tyler Reddick dancing with DJ Shaq and Chase Elliott winning the most popular driver in NASCAR (again). 

This week we are joined by our first GUEST! The amazing duo podcast of Podium Pop sounded off on current events of F1 and Indycar with MJ and Andrea, including Franco’s future, the Indy 500 and F1 crossovers and the FIA drama. To wrap it up they compare some ultimate driver lineups crafted by MJ to decide who would win in equal machinery.
