"Good Girl Gone," is about me and a relationship that went bad and how I was treated, and what I needed to do to express myself, to the person without an argument; so I expressed myself to him through song, to him and about the person that did not care about having a loving friendship, but it was more about the superficial life he wanted to juggle and that I wasn't interested in, so it is about empowerment for whom it resonates with, when you're in a toxic situation, to confront, and to speak your truth and get gone, so you continue to stay good and do good in your life.
