Last Breath Huntcast

HUNTROVERSY!!! After kicking a ton of tresspassers off this spring, we sit down to discuss the big question...IS THERE A GOOD WAY to KICK TRESPASSERS OFF HUNTING GROUND??? We talk about the things we have done from signs, wireless trailcams, and purple paint to prevent them. We also talk about the many reasons not to trespass and how to deal with them in the future. This one gets heated...sorry for the bad language folks.

We recap the bird that we reaped yesterday during the opening day of 5th season in Illinois. After not getting a bird to come onto a place we can legally shoot in the morning, we go to a second spot and bust out Teddy. We reap this turkey all the way to about 20 yards before picking up the gun and letting him have it! Thanks for listening, we will see you again on Monday for a HUNTROVERSY.

During episode 30, we talked about calling turkeys. During episode 31, we discussed decoy setup...what happens when none of that works? Well, it might be time to grab a fan and go REAP a turkey. We talk about everything we have learned about reaping turkeys over the last few seasons! Thanks for listening!

In our second turkey hunting strategies episode, we discuss decoy setups: number of decoys, gender of decoys, action of decoys, position of decoys, distance from hunter, distance from roost, and everything we have learned about hunting turkeys with decoys! If you missed episode 30 (how to call turkeys) make sure you give that a listen. Next episode live on Monday!
