HUNTROVERSY!!! It goes without saying that one of the biggest benefits of being a hunter is providing yourself, friends, and family with a healthy meal. After all, humans survived because of hunting from the beginnings of time. In part 1 of 3 of this HUNTROVERSY, we cover some preliminary thoughts on the ethics of eating what you kill. Most people probably eat nearly all of what they kill...but maybe not everything. The big question is...why? Look forward to part 2 coming next Monday!

During this episode, we discuss our foodplots. We talk through when we planted our beans, clover, corn, and turnips. We also cover why we planted each, how we worked the ground, sprayed, fertilized, when we planted each foodplot, and how much of each food we have. Foodplots can be a very effective way to hold more deer on your hunting property, and we cover strategies we use and how to plant the food plot mixes that we have had success with in the past.

On this episode, we talk about our gear that we wear out in the field from head to toe. We cover boots and how we change them throughout the whitetail hunting season and turkey seasons. We then transition into the camo that we wear, and which jackets/pants we interchange depending on the time, conditions, and temperature of the season changes.
