Our first cold front of the midwest deer hunting season is coming this week! The temps have been HOT for the past 3 weeks in Illinois, and now with the opening of the archery season, we have our first cold front approaching. This Thursday, the weather temperatures will begin to drop into the highs of 60 and lows in the 40's. This will be an ideal time to catch a mature buck slipping up. In this episode, I talk to Jesse about what he and Matt will do this weekend, and what their hitlist is currently like. Will their plan work this weekend? You'll have to listen in next Monday at 6am to figure that out!

HUNTROVERSY!!! There are LOTS of opinions out there on if you should share your trailcamera photos with a neighbor...or not. We weigh in on this week's Huntroversy by offering our perspective on both sides of the argument. For some, trailcameras are the most valuable piece of technology they use for hunting. Some choose to keep their trailcamera photos to themselves, and others share them. There are drawbacks and benefits to either side, and we talk about our opinion today!

Lifetime tag, First Bear...we cover a ton in this episode, and talk all the ins and outs of Robert's once in a lifetime Colorado high country Billy Goat tag. Garrett joined him, and was even able to kill his first bear! We cover the tag and why it is so rare, how Robert prepared for the hunt, the hunt itself, and also cover Garretts first bear! If you want to go west to Colorado and hunt in your lifetime, Robert would be a great example of a Colorado state resident who gets it done every year!
