In many of our teachings to our kids, we learn a lot about how we can be better parents. We were sadly mistaken when we assumed our Stranger Danger lessons were received well. Strangers come in many shapes, sizes, genders (obviously), but may even dress the part to lure their victims.

What we learned from this is that reiteration is key! Not only that, but we need to make sure our kids understand how to make the best judgement of anybody that walks into their lives, even if only for a moment.

The search for a nanny is over...we hope, we think. If you remember, a month or so ago we created videos announcing that we needed a nanny - many qualified submissions were emailed. We vetted the candidates and we think we found someone who is right for the kids (nanny) and also for the business (assistant). It's hard to find a person who is both qualified to watch kids and help with our brand. This is a trial period, we''ll see how it works, but in this episode we tell you all about it!

It's frightening for your child to run a high-temperature. A baby cannot talk or explain how they are feeling, so it leaves parents in disarray and confusion. Jersey started running high fevers for no reason - he was eating well, acting normal, playing, but all of a sudden, BAM!, high fever. In this episode we talk about dealing with an infant/toddler who has a high-fever.

We NEED a Nanny. Our sanity and health depend on it. lol.

In this episode, Ami and Justin McClure discuss the necessity and positive benefits of having a Nanny. Justin thinks it will make him a better husband and father to have help with the kids. Ami desperately needs more help. She doesn't have time to clean or work on the business because the children need constant attention (we have identical twins, which are 5 years old, and baby Jersey, 15 months old).

Why do we do this? We need to do this. The world needs more positive content. If we make others "feel good", then we've done our job. Maybe our content will pave the way for other creators and Influencers to create content that centers on principles and dignity (as we try to do). 

Also, we do this because we enjoy creating memories, preserving time, and documenting our lives together. We are a family first and foremost. In the end, we strive to make videos and content that our kids, years from now, will love and be proud of.

Ami just turned 37, Happy Birthday Ami! She looks great (Justin typing this. lol). In this discussion, we talk about aging, our thoughts on it, and how it's embraced. Why stress about something you cannot change? We will all get old, resisting the changes causes unnecessary anxiety. It's best to accept what cannot be changed:)

Ava and Alexis McClure, "the McClure Twins", have an amazing vocabulary and excellent communication skills, but we feel they could use some speech therapy. This is not a bad thing, it's a good thing, and Justin and Ami talk about WHY they are putting the girls in speech therapy.

The girls have amazing futures ahead of them, and it's beneficial to them to be articulate and have great dictation (especially for acting). Much of this decision stems from Ami and Justin wanting the girls to be equipped with tools to succeed (at whatever they choose to do).

Ami and Justin have been working hard to get in their best shape. It's not a new years resolution, this has been happening for months, and the couple is starting to see significant results. Ami is looking amazing (post-baby body), and Justin is getting really strong.

In this episode, Ami and Justin McClure discuss various ways to discipline their kids. Authoritarian practices are preferred, kids need to know right and wrong, it's a parents role to guide their children to be great humans, but the right disciplinary measures can be confusing and difficult when balancing the emotions and intellects of children.

Justin has a unique way of disciplining his girls when they are "unruly"...make them eat food they don't want. The twins complain about eating vegetables and fruits, so Justin's new way of disciplining the girls is making them eat food they don't want (essentially making them more healthy).
