What's up Internet? This week, Last Word SC Radio is back. We get caught up on MLS with a game of Potatoes and Eggs. Matt, Rachael, Harvey, and Raheem each pick a team we feel has underperformed expectations and exceeded expectations so far. We also discuss the state of Chicago Fire and New York Red Bulls given the departures of Ezra Hendrickson and Gerhard Struber, respectively. Then we talk Open Cup Fifth Round as well as CCL and the Canadian Championship.
For Open Cup, we pick games to watch and potential Cupsets. In the Round Table, we pick games and predict results for MLS Rivalry Week and discuss Paul McDonough being named the next USL President.
This episode was originally recorded on 04/25/23. Apologies I'm putting it out late on the audio side. I (Sean) had to work a lot this last week...
With the big controversy of the week still looming concerning the upcoming Redfall, Sean and Marc discuss if it is ok to release a new game AAA game at 30 FPS? Or does it always have to have the 60 FPS option.
While we don't have any new games to discuss this week, Sean and Marc saw a certain box office smash on Sunday (The Super Mario Bros Movie) that they'll have some NON-SPOILER thoughts on for this episode of Video Games 2 the MAX.
It's another week in video games, which means another episode of Video Games 2 the MAX.
What's up, Internet? This week on the Last Word SC Radio Podcast, Rachael Kriger, Felipe Vallejo and Harvey Cruz recap the Nations League group stage finishes, including Ricardo Pepi's big matches for the USMNT, which new players impressed and the players whose stock fell.
Harvey talks about La Selecta's tournament, and how their ceiling has yet to be reached. Rachael reacts to Costa Rica's near-loss to Martinique and eventual loss to Panama. Meanwhile, Felipe talks about the Canadian national team and the emergence of Cyle Larin.
Finally, the three talk about the upcoming MLS Week 6, and what they wish for their respective teams they cover, along with other teams around the league. Harvey wants improvement from the New York sides, while Felipe wants his wishful St. Louis to keep winning. Rachael, meanwhile, wants a big game from Albert Rusnák.
