Not forgetting to mention, the potential losses Jake Gardiner and Mitch Marner. The team will be forced to crap out different lineups. Ron Hainsey, Mike Babcock's favourite defenceman, is no longer with the club. Who will Babs lean on now?

The guys are back and because they missed the NHL Free Agency period and the NHL Entry Draft, they have decided to split it into two sections. In today's Eastern conference section, they break down everything that happened. From trades to signings and everything else. They take a look at trades like Cody Ceci and Nazem Kadri. As well as what the New Jersey Devils did.

After that, they talk about the outlook of each division this season and who has the biggest potential to rise and fall. July 1st was a busy day for the boys in blue and white. Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas managed to trade Nikita Zaitsev's albatross contract to the Senators in return for Cody Ceci. Then the young GM brought in the services of NHL veteran and hometown boy Jason Spezza. That seemed like a pretty decent day, right?

Kyle Dubas did not give up on his daydream of bringing a Cup to the 6ix... at least, not yet. Dubas, in the search of happy days, made a move that would sadden, shock, and impress Leafs Nation all in one go. That move was trading longtime veteran and fan favourite Nazem Kadri to the Avs for a top-four right-handed defenceman by the name of Tyson Barrie.

With the boys still in shock and disbelief, they sit down and discuss the moves. They also touch on how much better the Leafs are and give their take on everything else they went down.

Kyle Dubas, the general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs did the math, saw the writing on the wall and said that someone had to go. So during the second round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, Dubas pulled the trigger on a deal with a team which takes pride in calling themselves a "bunch of jerks" and exiled the head honcho of the Main Event Mafia Patrick Marleau in an attempt to keep the rest of the faded stable together.

Well, most members of Leafs Nation said "Bye Felica" to Old Man Marleau, other young studs from the Buds shared their memories of what once was, and got your hosts thinking about what's to come once the cash man beats the drum to signify the start of the RFA wars.

So in today's episode, the boys will talk about the main storylines of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. They will also chat about the moves the Maple Leafs made while looking at the team's newest members. Would it be a bigger parade? How crazy would the party be? And what would it take for the Leafs to get to that point? Also, the boys will predict NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard's future with the Raptors.

To cap this eppy off, "on-the-side-horseplayer" Holmesy will talk about this year's Royal Ascot meeting at the Ascot Racecourse in Ascot, Berkshire, England, where former Maple Leaf, current NBC hockey analyst and avid horseplayer Ed Olczyk, and the rest of the NBC crew, will be covering the festivities from June 18-22. Holmes will give the listeners a quick history of the meeting. He'll touch on what has happened so far? What's going to happen as we venture into the weekend? Holmes will also give his "best bet of the meet".
