He also shares insights from his recently released book, “God’s Generals,” which explores the significant Jesus People Movement, a revival that grew into an organized movement. He explains that most people seek visitation rather than revival because revival takes over everything, destroys our human perspective, and enforces God’s will and plan.

Furthermore, Roberts cautions against criticizing movements that don’t match our preferences, as each generation develops its style of worship. Instead of judging, we should appreciate these expressions as offerings to the glory of God. He highlights the importance of adjusting to the worship style of the younger generation and not trying to impose our style, because what worked for us may not work for them.
