The alpine forest of Klosters was alive with secrets. Beneath its towering pines and ancient oaks, where the remaining snow gleamed like powdered silver, an unseen magic thrived. Laté and Macchiato were no strangers to this magic. As Tonkinese siblings, their bond was unshakable. Laté, the elder sister with her confident, watchful blue eyes, was a natural leader. She carried herself with calm assurance, always ready to guide and protect her brother. Macchiato, with his curious green eyes, relied on Laté, especially since his struggles with bright light and distance vision made the world blurrier for him. Together, they explored the forest as a pair, always staying close.

A Sparkle in the Snow

Nestled in a quiet corner of Klosters in Switzerland, there was a little house perched on the edge of a snow-covered village. This house, with its warm chimney smoke curling into the crisp winter air, its windows glowing softly against the frosty night, seemed like any other. But if you ventured to the bottom of the garden—a garden filled with frosted trees, whispering evergreens, and a touch of mystery—you’d find something extraordinary.

This wasn’t just any garden. It was the home of fairies.

Hidden beneath the roots of the Grand Fir, the fairies lived in tiny cottages built from acorns and moss. And in the chalet above, another kind of magic dwelled. Two Tonkinese cats, Laté and Macchiato, were no ordinary pets. Laté, slender and graceful, with piercing blue eyes, was the leader, sharp and clever. Macchiato, her loyal brother, followed closely, his softer vision made sharper by her guidance. Together, they were explorers, guardians, and, when the time came, heroes.

In the days leading up to Christmas, as snow blanketed the village in a soft, glistening silence, the magic of the fairy garden stirred. A storm was coming, and with it, an adventure that would bring the fairies, the cats, and their human family together in a way none of them could have imagined.
