Late Hits with Patrick Creighton

Patrick opens things up with some Astros talk before taking a caller on who prompts him to give his insight into the Jussie Smollett case. Patrick tells a story about a trip to Dallas and labels it “accurate” storytelling time because an inaccurate version has been circling the studio. Before the final break he takes a caller and discusses the Texans/Oilers/Titans drama and carries that topic to the end of the first hour.

Patrick opens things up with his thoughts on the Khalil Mack signing and Mack’s career to this point. He then picks apart the Texans issues with protecting their QB. Patrick breaks the news that Justin Verlander and the Astros are nearing an agreement on a 2-year extension followed by waxing fondly on how NBA defense used to be played in 2000’s and earlier instead of the touchiness of today’s game. Patrick explains the current financial predicament the Ball family is currently involved in due to a close family friend. He wraps the night going over his NCAA Tournament bracket and how poorly his picks have done so far.
