For the first full hour of tonight’s show, Patrick continues his discussion about the Texans and their issues to solve in the postseason. He assesses the upcoming NFL playoff games and who has the best chances of winning. Then, he turns to the Astros and the possible deal they could make. He rounds out the hour with the Ask Me Anything segment.

It’s a short first hour due to the A&M basketball game but Patrick is finally back from vacation and he starts his first show back talking about the Texans’ embarrassing loss to the Colts. He talks about Bill O’Brien and the problems the Texans need to fix.

The second hour continues with Astro talk. He talks some NFL playoff scenarios and has an interview with Geoff Blum, announcer for the Astros.

This is the last Late Hits in 2018\. Patrick quickly jumps into randomness. He contemplates getting Lasik and talks about his glasses. He starts getting into Astro talk.

Patrick kicks off the second hour with his very own spicy food horror story. Then he goes through a list of Christmas movies and decides what should and shouldn’t qualify as one (FYI, don’t bring up Die Hard). Later in the show Patrick turns to the NFL and the bets on all of this weekend’s games. He goes on to talk about tacos, tacos, and, you guessed it, tacos.

Patrick starts the first hour with a rundown of the final moments of the Thursday Night Football game. He discusses the Mardi Gras, the best drinks and all of crazy that is New Orleans. He also talks about Cajun food and his low tolerance for anything spicy.

Patrick starts the final hour talking about the Houston Rockets and their very surprisingly slow and bad start. He discusses the MLB Winter Meetings that had some great moves by some teams and nothing by the Astros. Patrick delves into the Astros needs and possible gets and talks the catching position. Patrick ends the show with a Rockets update and his “Ask Me Anything” pre Friday portion of the last segment.

Patrick starts the first hour with the Thursday Night showdown between Chargers vs. Chiefs. Producer Jerry Bo explains how Vegas sets odds and how to bet. Patrick speaks of a very bad segment by Stephen A. Smith on ESPN.
