Late Hits with Patrick Creighton

Patrick kicks off hour two with a continuation of the conversation about the greatness of James Harden and tries to figure out his faults. He moves on to baseball: whether the Astros should consider giving Dallas Keuchel a multi-year deal, the uncertain future for Bryce Harper, the logistics of the Astros possibly acquiring Madison Bumgarner or Zack Greinke. Earlier, Patrick caught up with Dean Blandino, former head of officiating for the NFL and current rules analyst for Fox Sports, to talk about the controversial missed call in the NFC Championship game and the potential for making a play like that reviewable. Patrick wraps up the hour with his “Ask Me Anything” segment.

Patrick kicks off the night questioning why there are two types of Rockets fans, and emphasizes the huge impact James Harden has on the Rockets’ performance. He argues for the greatness of James Harden and gets a good number of callers to converse and even debate with him about it.

On the second hour of Late Hits, PCreight talks to the audience about the TABC laws and what the regulations about when Alcohol can be served. He also talks about the Rockets game vs the 76ers as well.

On the first hour, PCreight gives a review of his time in Vegas and his experience with edibles, he also talks about the Pacquiao-Broner fight as well. With Carmello Anthony getting traded to the Bulls, he also talks about where it all went wrong and what's next for this Rockets franchise.

Pat starts the second hour by continuing with Astros talk. He talks about marijuana. Pat closes the show out by talking Rockets and the NFL onside kick rule.

To start the second hour, Patrick talks about the NFL teams he hates, and talks about different types of fans with producer Tyler. Throughout the hour he answers questions asked by callers, texters, and tweeters. The topic of the night for most is teams they hate, however irrational their opinions may be. He breaks down the Texans vs. Colts wild card game and what went wrong for the Texans.

To kick off the first hour, Patrick takes some time to share some favorite memories from 2018 and the NFL teams he hopes will advance in the playoffs. He discusses acquisitions that would benefit the Astros and the free agent market around the MLB. To wrap up the hour, he gives his thoughts on the government shutdown and government employees not getting paid.
