You wouldn't steal a car. You wouldn't steal the Declaration of Independence. You definitely wouldn't illegally download Gone in 60 Seconds from the high seas and review it for science and/or comedy. Yes, you guessed correctly. We the Cagefighters review Nicolas Cage's first film of the 21st century -- his car heist smash hit that feels forever stuck in the 90s. Did we like it? Did we love it? Listen and find out. But make it quick, I can hear the fuzz coming.
Nicolas Cage teams up with Martin Scorsese to create one of the weirdest works of EMT fiction to ever hit the big screen. We're talking about 1999's "Bringing Out the Dead," which stars Cage as a burned-out paramedic in Manhattan who is haunted by the patients he failed to save. On the plus side, he does get to drink and do drugs on the job, so we're really not sure what he's complaining about. If only SOMEONE would FIRE HIM, DAMMIT! Just like our next episode, that apparently must wait until next week.
Next up will be our review of "Gone in 60 Seconds." Find us at niccagefight.com
Cagefighter Steve and Reece share a birthday only five days apart of the same year of our lord Nicolas Cage: 1988. To celebrate, Cagefighter Steve selected horror/mystery Happy Death Day (2017) for this Cageless movie review episode. Cagefighter Reece soon realizes Cagefighter Steve actually wants him dead.
Have you ever wanted to buy the most deplorable pornography you can imagine from a man beneath the subway? Have you ever wondered how much it would cost to crowdfund a REAL snuff film? (1st world problems, I know.)
If you answered YES to either question, then this may be the review for YOU! So switch your cybertruck to autopilot, crank that Vision Pro volume to EARBLEED, and relax with us while we talk Nicolas Cage's role in the 1999 thriller 8MM.
We Cagefighters were admittedly delighted and disturbed by this tragic tale of porno deep dives, one-percenter torture fantasies, and revenge murder. Hear our thoughts and concerns, and please someone get us in touch with a good therapist for the love of god.

Finishing off our Christmas in Cage marathon, you'll hear your pals THE CAGELOVERS and some super special SURPRISE GUESTS talk about what they think of this amazing CHRISTMAS CLASSIC!

We've finally made it to the millennium! Hear our rambling takes on Nic Cage's "The Family Man" (2000).
Ever wonder what it's like to wake up from your life as a filthy rich Wall Street banker to a life of poverty, shame and... CHILDREN? Nicolas Cage stars in this Christmas-themed episode of "Outer Limits" that's stretched out to two hours and filled with super sappy love scenes and Don Cheadle as some kind of timelord.
We also discuss Nic Cage's recent announcement that he plans to step away from acting to focus on being a REAL family man. And we also drop some hints about our next episode, which is sure to be something special.
Thanks for listening to Late Night Cage Fight!
Happy Cage-Giving, friends. 'Tis the season for a Cage-y trip down the horrid holiday lane. The first movie of our holiday bunch we subjected our sanity to was St. Nic's 1994 "Trapped in Paradise" -- a Christmas movie so hard to watch it's like being trapped with John Travolta in Hell. Hear us riff on the movie that also stars John Lovitz and Dana Carvey and ask questions about the meaning of life. Why, Nic Cage, why? Was this a "Mandy" prequel? Krampus origin story? The world will never know. But it doesn't matter, because Earth is just one small planet in the vast, infinite Cageverse.
With our first contender for the season's crown, "Snake Eyes" rolls in our laps like a pair of Cage testicle props from "Prisoners of the Ghostland". Join the Cagefighters for a spirited review of this classic boxing/gambling/Mission Impossible-esque thriller starring our hero of space and time. But not before we force Cagefighter Steve to experience the new trailer for A24's upcoming movie starring Nic Cage called, "Dream Scenario," which will release this month!
Tune in for our thoughts on "Snake Eyes" and follow us on social media or visit our website at NicCageFight.com. Are you a Cage fan with an opinion? Email your thoughts to [email protected] and maybe we'll give you a shout-out. Cage Out!
We sell our souls to The Devil this Halloween for a flaming skull and one *totally trippendicular* motorcyle! We're talking about GHOST RIDER, baby, which so happens to be Nicolas Cage's initiation into the Marvel cinematic universe. We share our thoughts on the movie and on Cage's performance, and why we think Cage should be in EVERY super(anti)hero movie EVER. So SMASH that play button and prepare to get Penance Stared for 47 minutes.
The Cagefighters took a year off to recover from seeing The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. Now we're back for another season of Cage movies, beginning with this back-the-blue post-Katrina favorite, Bad Lieutenant. In this film, Nic Cage plays a bad lieutenant and we talk about it. The Cageverse never dies, baby.
