  • Resolving Problems - Sheila Unique 5/26/17
3 Powerful Points to Resolving Problems and Move Forward!

Resolving Problems, how many times have you thought about your problems and still there is no resolution inside? Days go by and you find yourself constantly thinking about the problem. You have tried so many things and yet the problem won’t go away. What can you do to resolve problems and move forward in life?

When it comes to your problems, what do you perceive is your problem?  Are you resolving the right problem?  Here are 3 powerful points to re-direct your thinking to actually move you forward in life:

Be specific about the problem. People perceive their problems are bigger than they can handle. They say they are not good with finances.  There is no hope in relationships.  Their health will never turn around.  People talk about their problems using broad words such as finances, relationships and health.  How can you be more specific about the problem you are trying to resolve?
For example, let’s say you are not good with your finances.  The word ‘finances’ involves things like spending, saving, investing, earning, keeping cash around and credit cards. What specifically is your problem around your finances?  You say you feel really good about putting money into investments every payday. You feel good to know you pay your bills on time. Are those problems?  Now if you maximize your credit card all the time and that really upsets you that is a specific problem you would want to resolve.  You have taken what you perceived as a huge problem with finances and specifically identified the area of unrest.  To know the specific problem moves you forward to easily resolve the unrest inside.

Look inside for the solutions to your problems. There are things you feel good about inside and then there are things you do not feel so good about. The things you don’t feel so good about are the things you need to resolve.  This means in the moments when you are upset or bothered in some way you do not look to fix or change the people around you.  You start by looking inside for the solutions to your problems.
Any kind of emotions, such as being upset or bothered in some way are reactions which cause you to feel unrest inside.  Your reactions are about you and how you feel!  If you want to resolve the unrest you need to go inside to get a sense of what is upsetting or bothering you.

For example let’s say you are fighting with your husband.  You say he isn’t being respectful and it makes you mad.  Once you identify what is making you mad the very next step is to ask yourself what specifically makes you mad about that?  Go past thinking about how your husband treats you and move your focus inside yourself to where you can resolve your feelings of being mad.  When you have time to yourself close your eyes and This is very powerful.

When your problem has been resolved you will feel a sense of calm inside yourself. It is inside yourself where you will find the solutions to your problems.  This does not mean you changed the other person and the problem goes away!  This means you have resolved the reactions or the unrest you were feeling inside.  To resolve the unrest means you are no longer reacting like you did which moves you forward in life.

Know what it is you are feeling! When you go inside yourself to resolve your problem you are actually getting a feel for what the unrest is about.  The best way to describe this is to close your eyes and think of your problematic thoughts until you can feel the unrest inside yourself. That unrest may show up as a pain type sensation.  Once you feel that unrest stay with that feeling and stop thinking of the thoughts.  Your intention is to take your focus off of what you perceive the problem is and put your attention on what you are actually feeling. Everyone is unique and will experience this differently.  Putting your attention on what you are feeling...

  • Light Therapy - Biophotonics (Part 1) - Yvonne Hedeker 5/5/17
Biophotonics or light therapy is one of the most promising new technologies in health and wellness. It’s not surprising when you think about it. Light is the source of all life. Just like plants we need the right kinds of light for optimal health and well-being.

You can have the best diet and latest supplements, the best water, the best exercise program, the best medical care, the best attitude and there is still something missing. Its light! The right frequencies of light are an essential nutrient. Our brains, our eyes, our bodies need it….and most of us are deficient. We live indoors, unnaturally, under fluorescent and other lights that are not good for us.

Interestingly enough, this is what Einstein won the Nobel Prize for in 1921. His explanation of the photo-electric effect, or how subatomic particles of light, called photons interact with all matter, including living organisms. In Germany, Fritz Popp, a modern day biophysicist, explains that each second, some 100,000 chemical reactions occur in a given cell with light acting as the communicator that makes the reactions happen at the right moment and in the right place.

The ancients worshipped the sun, realizing its life giving and sustaining power. Today, science is rediscovering and proving what ancient cultures had already observed, light stimulates cellular and molecular activity. Biophotonics or light therapy is being used with newborns to reverse bilirubin, by the military to heal wounds and traumatic brain injury, by NASA to help astronauts sleep and stay healthy in zero gravity, by cancer hospitals to reverse the detrimental effects of chemo and radiation, by spas to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, erasing fine lines and wrinkles. Light therapy is used to regrow hair, alleviate acne and rosacea, relieve pain, reduce inflammation and regenerate tissue with professional athletes.

At Light Health Research, we are dedicated to bringing you the most researched, safest and beneficial frequencies of light. We should all be able to take advantage of this wonderful technology. Imagine that you can recharge our body like a battery and reboot our brain whenever you want. The DreamSpa personal light system lets you do just that. It’s a comprehensive solution to the effects of stress and the wear and tear of aging. Increase energy, uplift mood, improve sleep, enhance mental clarity and experience profound stress relief with professional light therapy for home use. Look and feel your best. Watch the years disappear. Convenient, portable, easy to use for a fraction of the cost. Benefits are progressive and each session feels like a deeply restful night of sleep – emerge relaxed, refreshed and re-energized!

  • Who Are You Going To Be? (Part 1) -Tonya Hoffmann 5/12/17
You have HUGE decisions in life. Who are you going to be? What kind of person are you going to be? And who and what kind of people are you going to surround yourself with to both enhance and support your time on this planet. Define your 2 to 3 main “rules” in life. Example for my rules is that you must be Nice and you can’t be Perfect. My core rules which are also my core values come out in the businesses I create, the clients I want to attract and the personal relationships I want to have to make me smile each day. What is your core value rules and are you solid in your stance you take with each person you interact with each day? Don’t settle long term with anything or anyone that doesn’t continue to support your rules and values. Surround yourself with amazing people that make you happy to see them, be with them and your health, wealth and prosperity will flourish along with the life lines on your face!

At the end of the day, you should be thankful for the experiences and fill fulfilled. If not, what is holding you back? Most of the time it is our self not allowing the transformation, the experiment, the change that you must take to experience something new. Shifting through life must take place to find the people that make you smile, the health you want to achieve and the wealth you want to bring in as both financial and the ultimate wealth of your ability to find your happy space. This life of ours is challenging. Doesn’t it make more sense to challenge yourself to the point that your laugh is infused with a smile from others? Adopt my goal I have for myself as your own… “At the end of the year, I don’t want to recognize myself”! How do I do that? By my daily goal “Wow myself today”! This will cause true growth and wonderful opportunities that you have never been a part of before. Go out today and make tomorrow a Wow experience.

  • Getting Past the Medical Gatekeeper (Part 1)- Eric T. Rosenthal 4/28/17
Getting past The Medical Gatekeeper, I am Eric Rosenthal, I’m a medical journalist and this is my personal story about an access my to care issue. I was forced to receive treatment in an emergency room because a medical office wouldn’t return repeated calls for an appointment. Much of this has to do with accountability, with fingers often being pointed in various directions by various employees, but the ultimate responsibility for all office procedures resides with the physician-owners of the practice.

I’ve been a lifelong runner and began having trouble breathing while exercising last fall. My internist diagnosed late-onset asthma, and prescribed a rescue inhaler.

However a few weeks later I began having difficulty breathing at night and developed a very bad persistent cough. After three nights of no sleep my condition grew worse and the day after Christmas I ended up in the emergency room of a suburban-Philadelphia teaching hospital, where I was diagnosed with bronchitis, and prescribed a course of oral prednisone as well as a steroidal inhaler in addition to my rescue version.

I continued seeing my internist, who made some changes in my inhaler dosage but my mid-March I was once again having trouble breathing and my cough returned causing my wife to rush me once more to the emergency room in the middle of the night. I was again diagnosed with bronchitis and prescribed a course of oral prednisone and antibiotics.

Feeling that I needed more specialized expertise I asked my internist’s office to recommend a pulmonologist and received the phone number of a 10-person practice in the same hospital with the name of a specific physician.

Knowing that I had two upcoming out-of-town conferences, I had a few dates in mind but didn’t mind waiting until I returned a week later as long as I knew that I had a scheduled appointment.

I called the pulmonology office and got a recorded message saying that I’d be called back. After several hours I called again, and then again, and again. I checked for alternative phone numbers on line and finally reached out to another office in a different suburb, where the receptionist informed me that she’d call my local office and someone would get back to me.

No one did and the next morning before boarding a plane for Miami I kept getting the same voice recording and then called my internist’s office and requested they try to get through. I was told that there seemed be a chronic problem contacting the pulmonology practice, which persisted when they tried calling without success.

Then 22 hours after my first phone call, while I was inflight, the pulmonology office finally called my wife and said that the physician I had requested wouldn’t be available for more than 2 months. My wife said, fine, please schedule another of the 10 pulmonologists and the receptionist said she’d have to call back with their availability, but never followed through.

The next day my wife had to physically visit the office and demand an appointment be scheduled before I had to end up in the ER a third time for care.

A week later I met my new doctor, who admitted that his practice had scheduling problems, but asked that we just move on with the exam. He adjusted my inhaler dosage, which has so far proven effective, and gave me his cell phone number for future emergencies.

I was now in the system, but wondered whether the practice would fix its problem so future patients wouldn’t find themselves in the no-access situation I had experienced.

  • Drop the Pain Pills (Part 1) - Sherry Fox 4/28/17
Drop the Pain Pills: BioCare System is changing the pain relief game with LumiWave, its medical-grade pain relief device

Why should you drop the Pain Pills? According to the National Safety Council, 99 percent of physicians exceed the recommended three-day dosage limit and that 74 percent of doctors believe morphine and oxycodone are the most effective ways to treat pain.

BioCare Systems is proving that pain can be managed without opioids – empowering people to take control of their health. Their product LumiWave delivers a specialized dose of near infrared light, which triggers the release of nitric oxide. Nitric oxide has been proven to dilate blood vessels, increase lymphatic drainage and modulate muscle repair. The uses of LumiWave are vast, from relieving pain from chronic pain (like arthritis, migraines or tendonitis) and acute injuries to promoting muscle recovery and stimulating stem cell proliferation and differentiation in stem cell treatments (PRP)

LumiWave is a medical-grade pain relief technology for easy use at home. Its 200-400 light-emitting diode (LED) array, originally designed for clinical effectiveness in the professional office, has never been available before at such an affordable cost. Automated treatment controls make the LumiWave device safe and simple to use without the risk of over-treatment or unwanted side effects. And, its compact, wearable design makes it convenient to travel with.

It takes only two controls on the LumiWave device to receive the proper dose of LED infrared energy to safely and effectively relieve pain, with out pain pills. Choose the 10-minute mode or 20-minute mode, depending on the area or kind of pain; once you start your treatment mode, the LumiWave will maintain a safe LED temperature and automatically turn off at the end of the pre-set time. Two treatments a day are generally enough to experience pain relief.

In 2005, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted BioCare Systems, Inc. clearance to market the LumiWave® device as a class II medical device for consumers. Since then, it has been used successfully by professional athletes, sports teams, sports medicine practitioners, and active people across the country. Today, BioCare Systems, Inc. supports both consumers and professionals with high-quality medical products, customer support and warranty protection.
