On today’s show we’re joined by Congresswoman-elect Lateefah Simon, our newest house representative, on her way to being inaugurated for California’s 12th District, which includes the cities of Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, Alameda, Albany, Piedmont, and most of San Leandro. The congresswoman-elect will be replacing long-time rep Barbara Lee next month.
