Today the Wellington City Council announced that the city's Band Rotunda at Oriental Bay would be redeveloped. The Band Rotunda has been uninhbited since 2012 and required extensive work, which scared off many would-be developers. However, engineer and developer Maurice Clark has agreed to take the project on. He joins Emile to discuss the significance of the Rotunda and what plans he in place to bring it back to life.

National MP Alfred Ngaro confirmed today that he is contemplating setting up a Christian values political party. If he were to do so, it could give the National party a potential coalition partner going into the 2020 election. But is there room for such a party in New Zealand political landscape?
