For the second year running more than 100 people will sleep inside the concourse at the DW Stadium to help raise funds for our charity of the year, the Brick, who offer vital services to people who are homeless, in poverty of suffering from debt crisis.

At first very shy, Evan developed his skills with the support of the Trust’s coaches and improved his personal skills too, making new friends, growing in confidence and bettering his self-esteem.

His involvement in sessions sees him represent Latics’ disability football team in the Greater Manchester Ability Counts Football League.

Every Player Counts is a programme aimed at getting more people with disabilities involved in football and sport, with coaches from the Trust working with over 600 people across the Wigan Borough since the project launched in 2016.
