  • Latin@ Stories Episode 88 Poemas, a conversation with Carlos Kelly
Carlos Gabriel Kelly Gonzalez first book, Wounds Fragments Derelict, takes the fluidity of being Mexican and American, weaving it together with love and loss to produce a novella of poetry. Kelly tells a loosely chronological love story through poetry, mixing in the impact of family, loss, and death. It is within these pages Kelly found a sense of healing, that through exploring the power of loss, of love, and of life, he learned to be hopeful once more, to not be afraid of what time and new love could bring.
