Sonora is joined by poet Carolina Hospital to continue the discussion of Cuban culture and identity from Episode 17. Carolina shares her experiences coming from Cuba at a young age, life in Miami pre-1980s, her journey from trying to assimilate into American culture to embracing her Cuban-ness, and how her experiences have greatly influenced her writing.
