Jennifer Rawlings grew up in Salina, Kansas before moving to Los Angeles. Jennifer is the proud mother of five children.

Jennifer is the winner of both the SCBWI Karen Cushman Award and the SCBWI-LA Sue Alexander Grant winner for her YA novel “Empty”. 

You may have seen Jennifer on Comedy Central, CMT, PBS, VH-1, A&E, CNN, HLN, CURRENT, Joy Behar, the film “I AM BATTLE COMIC” or streaming one of her three TEDx talks.

She is a favorite at festivals including the prestigious “Humor for Peace Festival” and Carnegie Hall's "Voices of 

Hope". Jennifer is a beloved keynote speaker at events across around the globe and is known for her wit and inspiration. Using her humor as a way to tackle serious subject matter, she was named as one of the “21 Change makers of the 21st Century” by Women’s E News. 

After her 15 years of experience in the hair and beauty industry, Dianna Bautista has taken her vast knowledge of the industry to developing nations to teach women who have been survived domestic violence, extreme poverty, and human trafficking. From the favelas of Brazil to the slums of Kenya, women have been liberated through a career in hair dressing. 

Currently she works in Thailand with men, women, and transgenders who have been rescued from the sex slavery where she founded Shear Love, a project of Free Rain International. 

Since founding this project in 2015, they have created beauty school partnerships through the whole of Southeast Asia, India, Kenya, and Mexico. Dianna couldn't be more proud to work with Shear Love and all they do to give women the choice to have a dignified career.

Chris is the founding and lead Pastor of South Hills Church, a multi-state, multi-campus church based in southern California. Chris is a best-selling author, and founder of Church Boom.

Jesse Bradley is a former professional soccer goalkeeper who played in the US, Scotland, and Zimbabwe. While he was in Africa, he was taking a prescribed medication to prevent malaria, and it built up toxic levels in his system. He was fighting for his life for a year, and it took 10 years to recover. During this time, his life was transformed in many ways including a new mindset, habits, identity, and most importantly, the grace of God. He graduated from Dartmouth college with a degree in psychology, and also has a master’s degree in theology. He now serves as a pastor in Seattle at Grace Community Church. Jesse and Laurie have four children, dog named Bella, and new hamster named Kiwi.

Derrick Michael Tennant made the most of a tragedy in his life by creating an opportunity for a career. As a promising athlete, Derrick was progressing in his dream for a career in sports when one evening he laid down but did not wake up for three days.

He had undergone what doctors would later term random bleeding from point x for an unknown reason. Paralyzed and in a coma, Derrick underwent brain surgery from which he became unable to move his left side. It would take years of therapy to re-learn the basics like walking, talking and simple daily tasks. Derrick is still unable to use his left arm and he walks with a limp, but he has learned a lot through this process.

Derrick credits one thing for his ability to make it through this process not only alive, but also learning and growing: LOVE. Receiving love from his family, his friends, and his God combined with learning to better demonstrate love in the midst of difficulty were essential to Derricks survival and vitality. After brain surgery, years of rehab and life in a wheelchair; he ultimately got on his feet again. Despite the very limited use of his left side, Derrick loves life and “looks on the RIGHT side” of things. He communicates the importance of shifting obstacles in life, work or business into opportunities.

He worked hard to overcome physical challenges and now works just as hard to help others overcome trials through his comedy, magic and inspirational speaking.
