Laura Carno, executive director of FASTER Colorado, joins Ryan to discuss the operational failure at Evergreen High School to provide a full-time School Resource Officer on campus when the regular SRO was on medical leave. Last Wednesday's shooting of two students, and the death of the shooter himself from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, occurred when the part-time SRO assigned to the area was away from campus reporting to an auto accident scene.

Just the night before, the Evergreen PTA discussed the lack of a dedicated SRO on campus and whether it left the school at risk for a potential catastrophic event - like the shooting that would take place the next day.
