The High Court delivered a ruling earlier this month that’s led to the release of more than 140 people from indefinite immigration detention. 

Some have serious criminal backgrounds in Australia or overseas. 

It’s become a political nightmare for the government as it’s scrambled to have those released monitored by authorities.
