We're back off the weekend to recap the women's unified welterweight title showdown in London and we have an American Olympic prospect ready to make his pro debut with us, as well as, fight news and some Ali-Frazier nostalgia on the "Fight Freaks Unite Recap Podcast!"

Host T.J. Rives is back with insider Dan Rafael of his Fight Freaks Unite Substack and Newsletter to go over it all.

First, it's a recap of the Boxxer main event from Friday in London, as Lauren Price won over Natasha Jonas and unifies the WBC/IBF/WBA/IBO women’s welterweight crowns. Price was younger, faster and better. What's her future?

They also recap the ProBox main event from Saturday in Long Beach, Calif. with featherweight Joet Gonzalez decisioning Arnold Khegai in close, exciting finish to a 10 round bout  

Next, we have previews for the Wednesday No Limit Boxing main event in Sydney, Australia: Brock Jarvis meets former unified welterweight champ, Keith Thurman over 10 rounds in a junior middleweight main event. There are big plans for Thurman after this, but does he have anything left after another long layoff?

Then, on Thursday it's the Teiken Promotions main event in Tokyo: with Kenshiro Teraji taking on Seigo Yuri Akui for the WBC/WBA flyweight unification. This should be an all action battle with Teraji being a huge fan favorite, as well.

Then, hear from Omari Jones, who turns pro with Matchroom Boxing on DAZN on March 15 card in his hometown of Orlando, Florida, This is on the Ammo Williams-Patrice Volny main event with Edgard Berlanaga in the co-feature  

Then, some news:

The NYSAC on Friday declined to overturn Tank Davis-Lamont Roach result and the draw will stand. The guys have takes. 

Also, Canelo Alvarez and the unknown William Scull met the media in NY on Thursday for the kickoff presser of the May bout that Canelo could sleep walk through. And, also, heavyweights Efe Ajagba and Martin Bakole will fight on the May 3rd on the Canelo-Scull undercard. The bout just wont be an IBF eliminator like it was supposed to be when it was on May 2 on the Times Square card.

March 9, 2013 — 12 years ago Sunday – Bernard Hopkins Hopkins outpointed Tavoris Cloud to win the IBF light heavyweight world title to, at 48, become the oldest fighter in boxing history to win a world title. That broke the record he set at age 46 with his historic light heavyweight title victory over Jean Pascal. We reminisce.
