In the small town of Tipp City, Ohio, 37-year-old beloved coach and mom Ashley Flynn was initially believed to have been killed during a burglary gone wrong after her husband, Caleb Flynn, called 911 reporting a break-in. Newly released bodycam video shows University of Iowa police responding to a late-night fire alarm at the Alpha Delta Phi house on November 15, 2024, where they discovered 56 shirtless pledges covered in muck in what officers described as a “significant hazing event.” As police tried to investigate, a man identifying himself as “Jose,” later identified as Joseph Gaya, allegedly blocked doorways, burped in officers’ faces, hurled a homophobic slur, and attempted to stop them from questioning the frightened pledges.
