Today's LAFFirmation: I love my Hips.
I carry myself through life in perfect balance.
My hips are powerful as I move toward new goals.
Breathe in and sigh out as you exhale.
Breathe in and smile as you exhale.
Breathe in and and laugh gently as you exhale.
Today's card is from Louise Hay's deck called Love Your Body.
------------------------------
What's a LAFFirmation?
We are choosing to affirm a thought that feels good, breathe, and laugh.
This powerful combination helps us find relief, feel better, and allows more fun things to flow into our lives.
We are choosing to laugh as an exercise for the wellbeing of the mind, body, and spirit.
Laughter Yoga is not comedy. It's an exercises and practice.
The body can't distinguish between spontaneous "real" laughter or simulated laughter. Even if we are simulating (or faking) the laughter, we are still getting all of the incredible benefits of laughter. How cool is that!
Be gentle with yourself.
Remember, choosing to laugh is a practice, and one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.

What was your favorite television show as a child? Mine was Today's Special (yes, that Canadian show with Jeff, Jodi, Muffy Mouse, and Sam). It was all about power of song, dance, play, and imagination.
Today's LAFFirmation: Today Is Special
Breathe in and sigh as you exhale.
Breathe in and smile as you exhale.
Breathe in and and laugh gently as you exhale.
Send me me a note and tell me which show or song made you happy as a kid!

I trained my mind to get excited when I see dandelions. Instead of seeing weeds, I see beautiful yellow flowers. Sometimes I even call them baby sunflowers.
Today's LAFFirmation: I Choose to see Flowers
Breathe in (the flower) and sigh as you exhale.
Breathe in and smile as you exhale.
Breathe in and and laugh gently as you exhale.
It's so much fun to know that we have the power to shift our thoughts to allow more flowers, fun, and flow into our lives.

I inadvertently ended up in the 12-item Express line at the grocery store with 40 items because I forgot to laugh this morning. But the cashier graciously allowed me to remain in the line (all my items were already on the conveyor belt), because I remembered to smile.
Today's L' AFFirmation: My Smile is Powerful.
Today I learned two important lessons:
1) Remember to laugh as early in the day as possible so the rest of the day flows with more ease.
2) Never underestimate the positive power of your smile.
Breathe in and sigh as you exhale.
Breathe in and smile as you exhale.
Breathe in and and laugh gently as you exhale.

We can't change what someone else thinks, or says, or does.
This is empowering to know for 2 reasons:
1) There is nothing for us to do
2) We have the power to shift our thoughts
Today's L' AFFirmation: I Have the Power to Shift My Thoughts
Breathe in and sigh as you exhale.
Breathe in and smile as you exhale.
Breathe in and and laugh gently as you exhale.
The other person may be experiencing a challenging time or learning something.
It's not about you.
Don't take it personally and release it/them with your breath, smile, and laugh.

We are laughing to strengthen our connection to our intuition. When we laugh, we release resistance and realign with our Inner Being and true essence.
When you feel a connection to your intuition, you can hear the answers you are seeking. You are in the right place at the right time, and meet wonderful people along the way.
Today's L' AFFirmation: I Am Connected to My Intuition
