Lawmakers in the United States are demanding answers after reports War Secretary Pete Hegseth allegedly ordered to leave no survivors during a US military strike on a vessel in the Caribbean.
The Washington Post reports the Defense Secretary allegedly gave a spoken directive to "kill everybody" in September, which included two survivors who were clinging to the smouldering wreck.
In recent months the US military has been targeting vessels suspected of smuggling drugs in the Caribbean Sea and eastern Pacific Ocean.
