It’s Mother’s Day and I wanted to share a conversation with my mom. Thank you mom for being the woman that you are. I’ve learned a lot. Thank you mom for standing firm in what you believe in. You give me hope and faith Thank you mom for everything. I wouldn’t be the man I am today if it weren’t for you and your indomitable spirit. I love you. Happy Mothers day!!

I had a whole episode written out and ready to go on the topic of “being authentic.” My day lead me to late night walk down memory lane with a childhood friend. Catching up. Having good times. Being real.

Yes, a lot of people aren’t interested in others or in being actively helpful, but kindness and connection are basic aspects of human behaviour. Some people are kinder and more selfless than others (for deeper and more complex reasons than i could simply put.) , but sooner or later any human being experiences the desire to do something good for somebody else.
