  • Why Jesus?

Why did Jesus come? Why did He die? Why did He have to rise again? What does that mean for you and me? Jesus laid down His life so that each of us may find forgiveness of our sins, be transformed by His power, and experience abundant life in Him.

  • Dying for Change

A 2007 survey by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life found that of the 35,000 U.S. adults surveyed, 44 percent had left their childhood religious affiliation. A follow-up survey in 2009 by the Pew Forum shows the percentage had grown to between 47 and 59 percent. Reported among those who claimed no particular religious affiliation was a "disenchantment with religious leaders and institutions".

Many people are searching for hope and meaning yet have found that organized religion doesn't provide the answers. This is because we weren't created to experience religion, but relationship. Join us next Sunday as we launch a new series based on our second core value, "It's About Relationships, Not Religion".

  • Irrepressible Joy Of Jesus

If you turn on the evening news, surf the web, or read any print media, it's easy to see that this world is broken. There seems to be chaos all around. Too often turmoil creeps into our lives as well and we often can find ourselves down and discouraged. But, in spite of our circumstance or troubles, there is hope! Jesus offers a real solution for us that goes beyond thinking "happy thoughts" or trying to "fix" ourselves with self-help books. This Sunday we will complete the series on our first core value, "The Church is Not a Building", today we will be learning about how we as HIS CHURCH should experience the irrepressible joy of life in Jesus.

  • Captured by Christ's Love

Remember when you fell in love? The sweaty palms, the lump in your throat, the butterflies in your stomach? You just couldn't stop thinking about the other person no matter how hard you tried. You were captivated, captured by love. There is a greater love than that, one that goes beyond infatuation and the flu like symptoms. It is the genuine, life changing love of Jesus Christ. It is REAL love, a love that sacrificed all for us. It's a love that forgives all and never fails, a love that captures us. We invite you to join us this Sunday morning for worship and a teaching by Steve Forrester as we explore what it truly means to be captured by Christ's love.

  • It's Not About Outward Appearances, But Inward Significance

If we had lived in the first century, it's likely we would have joined with others who believed that the men known as the Pharisees were closest to God and most worthy of His mercy and blessings because of their great religiosity. Yet, is this what really pleases God and brings us closer to Him? We invite you to join us this Sunday morning for worship and a teaching by Dave Mohler when we'll seek to answer this question, and also see why we believe you'll find no perfect people at Life Church.

  • Being the Church

The word "church"brings many thoughts to mind, some positive and others not so much. We tend to look at "church" through the prism of our own personal life experience. Those experiences tend to skew our vision of what church really is. For instance, gathering for worship in an elementary school gymnasium instead of a building with a steeple, pews and stained glass may create a challenge for some people.

  • The Gospel Bumper

Gospel means good news. The world today needs some "good news". The greatest news ever is that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth, lived a sinless life, and willingly died for the sins of the world. On the third day, He rose triumphantly over His enemies, and now offers forgiveness of sin and everlasting life to all who will trust in His finished work. That is good news. That is the heart of the gospel. In the series The Gospel, we will examine the power of this good news, how to live it out, and the importance of sharing it with everyone.
