On this episode of Le Run Down I spoke with endurance athlete and suicide prevention advocate, Lynn Keane. She loved running in school and was competitive on the track before taking a long hiatus from the sport, coming back at age 39. Running and triathlon remain a huge part of her life. It helped her to grieve over the tragic loss of her child, and allowed Lynn to find a path forward showing tremendous perseverance and resilience.

On this episode of Le Run Down I had a great conversation with ultra trail runner and recent Western States 3rd place finisher, Marianne Hogan.

She did elite level triathlon, distance running for her school in California, trails in Colorado, and over the last few years Marianne has built a solid ultra running resume.

Battling through serious injury, she earned herself a Golden Ticket to Western States and finished that race on the podium. It really seems like she's finding her stride and ready to take the ultra scene by storm.

On this episode of Le Run Down I had a smooth chat with distance runner and elite marathoner, Dakotah Lindwurm.

She actually didn't start out as a runner but had dreams of making it big as an ice hockey goaltender. The running started as a way to have a more balanced approach to sport.

Dakotah's love for running was a gradual progression, sticking with it, making improvement's year after year but most of all, having fun. Whether it's a world major or Olympic qualifier, she can always be seen with a smile across her face.

On this episode of Le Run Down we discussed all things running with distance runner and Uptempo Running co-founder, Shadoe Huard.

He's been passionate about sports since he can remember and used running as a way to stay in shape for his first love which was basketball.

Shadoe's enjoyment for running only came later but now uses it as a vehicle for inner growth and personal development. It's even lead him to the creation of a run group that provides all runners with the power to discover and explore their potential through movement.

On this episode of Le Run Down we enjoyed a great conversation with trail runner and ultra endurance athlete, David Kilgore.

From a young age, running was a way for David to enjoy nature and explore the outdoors. As a teen he was able to shift that passion to track and field but managed to keep it fun while racing competitively.

Fast forward and he's now taking on ultra distances, nurturing his light heartedness towards the sport with challenges, and generating funds for charities in need.
