As June winds down, Brittny Huffman, Recreation Program Coordinator with the City of Hobbs Parks & Recreation, stops by the KNMJ T-Bird Radio Studio to let Lea County with Lindsay fans know about the City's Annual Independence Day Celebrations: Thursday, July 4th at Harry McAdams Park. Fireworks at 9:30 pm with many other events earlier in the evening.

This week on Lea County with Lindsay, Lindsay brings Kim Latimer, NMJC's Continuing Education Program Coordinator, into the KNMJ T-Bird Radio Studio to discuss the NMJC Youth College courses. Kim invited Seminole I.S.D.'s Lego Robotics youth volunteer coaches Aubrey & Austin to talk about the two Lego Robotics courses they'll be helping with during Youth College.

On this artistically, educational episode of Lea County with Lindsay, Amanda White, Director of the 21st Century programs at Hobbs schools stopped by to talk about the summer programs: Strings camp and STEM camp. After her segment, Western Heritage Museum's Interim Executive Director Erin Anderson and Director of Education Mary Lyle visited with Lindsay in the KNMJ T-Bird Radio Studio to talk about their Thursday "Evenings with Rodin."

On this smokin' first episode of the summer, Lindsay invited Dan Socolofsky, Director of Development for NMJC's Foundation, into the KNMJ T-Bird Radio Studio to discuss the Foundation's Annual Golf Tournament at Rockwinds Golf Course to be held on June 8th & 9th. After the break, Mara Salcido, Executive Director for Lovington Main Street, stopped by to hype up Smokin' on the Plaza! This Annual State Championship BBQ Cookoff and Music Festival brings tourists from over a hundred miles away to have a great time. 2019's highlights feature local Dryland Brewing company and Wade Bowen.

This week on Lea County with Lindsay, Melinda Franca and Perla Trevino from the Lovington Youth Center joined Lindsay in the KNMJ Studio to talk about the Out of This World Summer Camp Kick-Off. After a short break, the new Interim-Executive Director Erin Anderson and Director of Education Mary Lyle from the Western Heritage Museum spoke about the opening of their Rodin exhibit.

This week on Lea County with Lindsay, NMJC's Men's Golf coach James Berry visits the KNMJ Studio to talk about the fantastic season the NMJC Golf team have had athletically and academically. After a short break, Lindsay provides updates on Lea County's graduations.

Lea County with Lindsay is starting off April with a full and fun show this week, highlighting the diverse opportunities in Lea County has to offer.
