After a short break Natalie Perez, Preventionist with Lea County Tipsy Taxi joins the show to discuss the free taxi service available to Lea County residents to dissuade drinking and driving this holiday season.

For this first full week of November, Lindsay invites Nathan Miles back into the KNMJ Studio to discuss New Antiquities current production of Anne of Green Gables adapted by Lubbock local Sylvia Ashby. In the second segment, Dr. Darrell Beauchamp from the wonderful Western Heritage Museum and Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame stopped by to chat about last Saturday's Cowboy Hall of Fame Banquet honoring local ranchers and cowboys. This week on Lea County with Lindsay, NMJC's President Dr. Kelvin Sharp visits the KNMJ Studios to discuss how voting Yes to GO Bond D won't increase the taxes to the citizens of New Mexico but will allow New Mexico Junior College to repair the infrastructure of it's 52 year old campus. After a short break, Kassie White, 21st Century Grant Site Coordinator with the Boys and Girls Club Central brought Vicente Griego and Emmy Grimm to describe how they instruct over one hundred local students in the art of Flamenco.

Laurie Terpening from Landmark at Desert Gardens joins Lindsay this week to discuss the Lea Count Walk to End Alzheimer's on Saturday, October 27th at 8:00 am at Lea Regional Medical Center.

Director Nathan Gibbs from the Community Players of Hobbs was Lindsay's guest this week. Discussing "The End" a horror movie themed haunted house that will force you to face your cinematic fears! October 19, 20, 26, 27, and 31, 8:00 pm.

NMJC Athletic Director Deron Clark visited with Lindsay this week about Booster Club memberships, NMJC Athletics, and the upcoming "An Evening with Bobby Knight", Tuesday, October 16 at Hobbs Country Club, which benefits NMJC Athletic scholarships.

Lindsay welcomes Coordinators Shannon Bush and Christina Rubalcaba of Lea Regional Medical Center to discuss the upcoming Think Pink! Expo & Breast Health Awareness to discuss a fun night of education to help fight breast cancer in Lea County. Find more info on the October 16th 5:00-8:00 pm event on Facebook. In her second segment, Lindsay welcomes New Antiquities Theatre Company's Artistic Director Nathan Miles to discuss "The Realistic Joneses" along with actor Corben Pettigrew. Opening this weekend at the Western Heritage Museum, the play can be seen at 7:30 pm on October 5th, 6th, 12th, & 13th.
