Where do you go when you have questions about your finances? For years, I relied on myself for answers, and that did allow me to live comfortably, but it did not allow me to understand how to make my money work for me. I knew how to work, pay the bills, and buy the things I needed in life. It took me until I was in my 50's to learn that I needed to ask questions about how to make my money work for me, and where to go to get the right answers that protected me and my money as well. One sign of great leadership is that these leaders can begin to foresee problems before they happen! They aren't psychic, but when great systems are in place, the leader is present, and your team feels empowered to share when they know something doesn't feel right, the great leader can keep their organization running smoothly and successfully. After experiencing an illness and not getting the relief she needed, she began exploring other options. She found remedies that allowed her to feel like herself once again. Let me ask you a question. Where did you learn about how to manage your money? Not just manage it, but ensure that you can take care of your responsibilities and make it work for you? Money is a tool and if we don't learn how to use the tool, we will not benefit from it...limiting our options in life. Are we teaching our own children and grandchildren about being financially fit? I am guilty of not teaching my daughter. She is learning now, right along with me, but what if I could have taught her earlier in life? I know her path would have been different.
