In many ways, our internal world, external world, eternal world, gives us a run for our money. There's so many aspects of life that change and others that stay the same. What is it that's most important, that helps us to take next steps? What do we consider in that process.

You're new to the crew, and now what do you do? You have to catch up, when you start smaller then everyone else, but what catches your attention as you learn? Growing deeper, is a thorough, slow, explorative, and new process for everyone. How does that look and why?

Main idea: Your pivot point for expertise is: how & why.

It's difficult for anyone to predict what will come down the road, but we can be built for it. Together and individually, when can we recognize and accept the invitation we have to change before we have to, with those who need us now, and to come?

Conflict usually punctures holes in our gas tanks, and it can be hard to recover. Every group experiences conflict in some form, and yet requires each other to go the distance. What can we pay attention to, when we're stuck between personal values and group commitments?

Humans are like fountains that flow with many things. Shame is one of them. It's not just a smart term, a term for the mentally ill, those in academia, or a play-on word for something others experience.
