COVID SYMPTOM TRACKER APP | https://covid.joinzoe.com
As the Coronavirus and COVID-19 started to develop in the UK, Julien and his team quickly looked to build an app that would help the British population track their symptoms, thus hoping to help 'flatten the curve'.
The COVID Symptom Tracker that was built was created by doctors and scientists at King's College London, Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals working in partnership with ZOE. It is helping scientists and authorities to study the symptoms of COVID-19 and track the spread of this virus and was endorsed by NHS Scotland and other leading bodies who have promoted its' use.
The app went very quickly from initial concept and idea, to 1M users in less that a week and is now used by >2.5M people. Some very impressive numbers indeed.
We asked Julien Lavigne du Cadet, VP of Engineering at Zoe, to spend some moments sharing about the whirlwind month he spent building and scaling the COVID Symptom Tracker with his team.
