“Don’t focus on the victories, focus on your people and the victories will come.”

Where do your people fall in your organization or life?  Are you taking care of those around you? I challenge you to spend some time evaluating how you are caring for the ones you lead, both in your personal and professional life.

You will never be able to control the actions of others, we can only control our own.  Loving others doesn’t mean we accept their behavior, it means we look past their faults and shortcomings… just as God looks past ours. My encouragement – Love Everyone Always!

What's holding you back from taking your next step?  We're not going to make the right choice every time we make a decision, but it doesn't mean we aren't growing or learning.  I encourage you to make a decision today and take the initial step on something that has been anchoring you down.  

“Of all the people on the planet, you talk to yourself more than anyone… make sure you are saying the right things.”

If you recorded every word you thought and said to yourself in a day, what would that look like? Are you giving yourself the same grace that you give others?  My encouragement for you today is to spend a few minutes bragging about yourself… to yourself.

“I am the resurrection and the life.  Whoever believes in me though he die, yet shall he live.” – John 11:25

What an incredible promise for us all.  Don’t be afraid to live, he is with us always, even through death.  When we walk through life afraid, we miss out on so much of the beauty that he has provided for us.  I encourage you to not be afraid to live out your purpose today.

Are you pruning the right areas of your life, or even pruning at all?  It doesn’t matter how great it is or how much you paid for it, if it is not growing you, it may need to be pruned back.

What type of sacrifices are you making as a leader?  When you think of the sacrifices you make, and we do make these daily, whose best interest do you have in mind?  I encourage you to reflect on this today… there is a big difference between self sacrificing and sacrificing others.         

“Focus on where you want to go, not where you’ve been.”

Where is your focus today?  Are you stuck in the past or busy watching the other racers?  I encourage you to keep your eyes on the future, and take it one step at a time. 

“Faith in God includes faith in God’s timing.”

If you are waiting on something today, my encouragement for you is to keep the faith and continue to work… help is on the way… and it will come at the perfect time.

Are you resisting change because of comfort or fear?  I encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone - you may just be surprised at the beauty and wonder that is hiding under that old cocoon.
