The need to be perfect can destroy relationships in all areas of your life. As a leader, it is important for you to realize if this is a struggle and make the proper adjustments.
"Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up. Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." - 1 Peter 5:6-7
What you anxious about today? What has you in the same place as Jonah… unwilling to trust in God's plan? My encouragement to you is to humble yourself, and turn it over to God. He will never leave you or lead you down the wrong path.

Do you find yourself overwhelmed by trying to do too much… trying to wear that superhero cape? Often, people accomplish very little because they stretch themselves too thin… trying to do everything. If you keep your life simple and stay focused, you'll be amazed at what you accomplish, one small step at a time.

Don't allow a bad situation or bad person ruin your vision or distort your judgment. Even in the best conditions, you'll experience some loss of crops. Remember, just because you can't benefit from it now, doesn't mean you can't bless someone else with it… and ultimately benefit from this act of kindness later in life.

We aren't doing ourselves any favors by holding onto and stressing about things that we can't control. What do you need to let go of today? When we let go of the weights that our holding us down, that's when we truly begin to live out our higher calling.

You will never be able to control the actions of others, we can only control our own. Loving others doesn't mean we accept their behavior, it means we look past their faults and shortcomings… just as God looks past ours. My encouragement – Love Everyone Always!

I'm not sure what you're facing today, but I know we all have battles. Don't stand in awe at the bottom of the mountain and wonder how you are going to climb it… I encourage you to look toward the heavens, reach out to God, and start walking.
